Surf’n’Turf Poboy’s, located on Congress Ave. between 2nd&3rd. Overall a good food trailer that uses seasonal, local, and organic ingredients to make decadent poboy’s.
I tried the “slap your momma” that featured a perfectly cooked ribeye, on a whole wheat bun, with a horseradish and sour cream sauce. The poboy was a bit expensive but very high quality. My only complaint was that of personal preference: I think that ribeyes, when used in a sandwich should be sliced, thus avoiding the unpleasantness that happens when you bite into the ribeye’s vein of fat. I’m glad I wasn’t in public as I try to separate my bite of food from the string of fat holding on the rest of the sandwich.
I’d make this trailer an occasional indulgence, rather than a weekly staple because of the price, but I do give it a thumbs up!
